Our Past
Cameron Barnes and Derek Smith founded Arkansas Weather Watchers in 2014. By 2023 with the addition of Rich Seese, American Weather Watchers was born. Explore our rich history of chasing storms, forecasting, and focusing on keeping Arkansans and the heartland safe, informed, and ahead of the storms.
Our Future
Learn about our current path to obtaining Non-Profit status and our road map to the future to expand outward, opening up chapters all around the Heartland with the tried and true template from Arkansas Weather Watchers that people have relied upon for a decade to keep them safe.
Our Technology
From Mobile Apps to in-house GFS/HRRR processing, we keep the public aware of weather events efficiently. We have a roadmap of where we are now and where we want to be with the evolution of our technology for public awareness to the latest threats.
